Nick and Sam have been best friends since kindergarten, and they’ve been through thick and thin together. Recently, Sam bought his first vehicle, a brand-new Mitsubishi Mirage. As excited as he was to hit the open road, he started to get worried after reading the service and maintenance guide. Fortunately, Nick is an expert on cars, and he was able to help Sam understand the Mitsubishi Vehicle Maintenance Guide. In this blog by Nanaimo Mitsubishi, we’ll look at the Mitsubishi vehicle maintenance guide.
Nick reassured Sam that maintenance is essential for any vehicle and that by following the guide, he could keep his Eclipse Cross running smoothly for years to come. Nick broke down the guide into manageable sections, so Sam could better understand each task.
First up was oil changes. Nick explained that regular oil changes are crucial to keep the engine running smoothly. He advised Sam to change the oil every 5,000 miles or six months. Sam was relieved to hear that this was a task he could easily handle alone.
Next on the list was brake maintenance. Nick stressed the importance of regular inspections and cared to ensure the brakes functioned correctly. He warned Sam that if he heard any grinding or squeaking noises when braking, it was time to have them checked by a professional.
Tire maintenance was also essential. Nick advised Sam to regularly check the tire pressure and ensure the tires were properly aligned and balanced. He also recommended rotating the tires every 5,000 to 8,000 miles to prolong their lifespan.
Battery maintenance was another crucial task. Nick told Sam to regularly inspect the battery terminals for signs of corrosion and ensure the battery was securely mounted.
Finally, Nick talked Sam through the various fluids that required regular checks and changes, including brake fluid, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid. He advised Sam to follow the recommended maintenance schedule outlined in his owner’s manual.
By their conversation’s end, Sam felt much more confident about maintaining his new Mirage. He was grateful for Nick’s help and advice and knew he could always count on his best friend to have his back.
